4th of July in San Francisco
Brady had mentioned he wanted to go out and visit his best friend from childhood (STEVE JURCA), but I was still working and didn't know how to make it work. WELL.. I put in my two weeks for nannying and surprised Brady with plane tickets to San Francisco. It was a well deserved trip for us. Nannying was a long hard road for me. A perfect job, since I was able to take TemeKula, but it had its ups and downs. I was sad to quit, but so overwhelmed with little kids that weren't my own. I know I'm horrible!! It was hard for me though. I think I'm so used to the way I parent and then when someone does it different its hard to blend your parenting skills together when you disagree with one another. Brady had just finished a long first year at Law School and got an awesome offer to work at Myriad Genetics. It was time for a break, and what a perfect opportunity, Fourth of July in San Francisco. We played LOTS of WII, went to an awesome park that overlooked the City, (BEAUTIFUL), HUGE mall, Jen put together a fun BBQ with friends from their ward, and we were able to watch fireworks right next to the Harbor. They were awesome! It was really foggy so every time a Firework would burst the sky would light up in its color. TemeKula and Joe hit it off well. One night while Jen and I were in the family room talking we couldn't hear the kids, so I went in to check on them and TemeKula was combing Joe's hair, with a wet brush, but we never heard the faucet go on...Yes, the water was coming from the toilet :) Joe was just standing there going along with it. haha WOW!! Sorry Jen. I wasn't up for any site seeing, so we had a very relaxed weekend! Steve and Jen were awesome. Thank you for catering to us over the weekend we had a blast!
