SLC TOUR

My cousin Jessica flew in to Vegas for a business trip and decided to make an extra special stop with my mom to SLC for her first tour and of course to see her favorite family on the West Coast. We were able to take her to a couple places and still have an enjoyable weekend. We had tinfoil dinners in the canyon, shopping in Park City, Alpine Slide in Park City, and a hefty hike to Ensign Peak to see the city, and the Great Salt Lake. I was so proud of TemeKula. She made it all the way to the top with out to much complaining. It was neat to also go back for our first time to the same spot Brady proposed to me. It's so beautiful up there! I love it up there especially at sunset. It amazes me how much the Pioneers did when they got to Utah. Thats a pretty big hike for just trekking across the Country, let alone building a temple at the same time. They were such amazing people.

How fun! I've never been up to Ensign Peak...but it looks GORGEOUS! :) That's so awesome that Mek was a lil' trooper, and hiked like a champ! You're "growing family" is darling! thanks for being so good about posting pics, so all of us can see what you're up to! I miss ya cute girl! It was fun to see ya in my store a while ago! (much better to see ya in person, than on line!) haha! But I'll take what I can get!

Lacee, I completely forgot to get back to you about the lenses, I am sorry. The brand I loved is Tameron. I would go try it on your camera at somewhere local like inkleys, and see if you love it. You can usually get better prices online though. I usually go through B & H. Their address is www.bhphotovideo.com good luck!

I have a 28-200, but I would recommend the 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di LD if you can spend a little extra, you wont regret having the greater zoom. It is like 3 lenses in one, super compact and light for what it is. Keep in mind that there are digital and film versions of most lenses, in my experience you should get a digital one because sometimes the conversion messes things up. You can tell it is meant for a digital camera by the "Di" at the end. Hope that helps. Also, more than anything if you wanna take better pictures, I recommend reading your camera manual. I am amazed how much you can learn about lighting and how to get the most out of your equipment just by reading it. (longest comment ever!) hope it helps!
